'Flamenco Guitar Step by Step' dedicates
three didactic videos to the soleá
Having tackled the basic technique of flamenco
guitar in the first three videos of the collection 'Flamenco Guitar Step by Step',
Oscar Herrero dedicates a trilogy to the soleá.
The guitar teacher presents, in three chapters,
a detailed study of the style from which most flamenco rhythms are conceived and
developed, both for concert guitar and accompaniment to cante through soleá.
The audiovisual enables students at home to
practice accompanying Paco del Pozo, the young Madrilenian cantaor who, among
other prizes, owns the 'Mining Lamp' award of the Las Minas International Cante
Festival.

Oscar Herrero and Paco del Pozo
The sheet music book accompanying the video
has been improved in this fourth installment. The new presentation as a book in
A4 format is designed to make it easier for students to follow the songs performed
in the videos.
Likewise, the video dedicated to accompaniment
to cante through soleá has a CD attached with performed songs including
the participation of Oscar Herrero, on flamenco guitar; Paco del Pozo, on cante;
Bruja Perdomo, on percussion; and Jessica de Diego and Manuel Castillo, on clapping.
