Flamenco has answered the annual call
it has received for the past twenty-one years from the
U.S. city of Alburquerque. From June 6th to 15th, 2008,
the Rodey Theater was the hub of this new edition of the
festival, in which flamenco dancing artists such as Antonio
Canales, Rocío
Molina, Manuel
Liñán and Carmen la Talegona have stood
out in their own right. Moreover, the repertoire company
Yjastros has once again demonstrated how flamenco penetrates
these whereabouts, performing choreographed pieces by
Juana Amaya and Alejandro Granados, among others.
