Drunk of dance

Again, the flamenco dance. Rocío Molina presented her latest show 'Vinática' at the Gran Teatro on July 10th, in the 2011 Córdoba Guitar Festival. The dancer from Málaga, National Dance Prize 2010, works “on the deformation of the technique achivied during many years to become more aware of her message”. And she does it with the help of Roberto Fratini as drama director. On the bare stage, her solo dancing transits through cantiñas, zambras, seguiriyas, bulerías... accompanied on guitar by Eduardo Trassierra, also responsible for the original music; the vocals and mandola of José Ángel Carmona; and the hand clapping by El Oruco. Rocío Molina's presence at the festival is not limited this year to the stage, she also teaches a course of the Tuition Programme from 13th to 16th July under the title “Character and interpretation of the first forms and figures in taranto dance”.
