'Flamenco de Cámara', by Mayte Martín
Someone once used this expression - Chamber Flamenco - to describe the sensation
produced by our approach to flamenco. Since then, Belén and I haven't found
another to better define the concept behind the way we create and perform shows
to the public.
The symbiosis between us came about spontaneously, as a result of mutual appreciation
and admiration. And right from the start that meant that the audiences could feel
the magic flowing from the stage, the fruit of something forged by destiny, created
for pleasure and with sincerity, far-removed from commercial strategies and founded
on a very firmly-established, tangible and distinct philosophy.

With conviction in our hearts, we opted for a risky formula: sobriety, naturalness,
delicateness, and the simplicity of all that is carefully elaborated, which springs
from our deepest emotions and arouses deep emotions in others. And by taking that
chance we've felt more profound emotions than ever.
Our offering is a blend of tradition and renovation, just as we are ourselves.
The quantity of each of these ingredients is meticulously measured to preserve
the wonderful essence of flamenco music and dance, and to give a fresh sound,
fresh aesthetics and a fresh interpretation using our own style and our concept
of this art form.
With no movement that isn't a product of its own momentum, with no voice other
than my own, with no musician that isn't strictly necessary, with no elements
that conceal nuances, nor artifacts that disguise the art form: FLAMENCO DE
CÁMARA - CHAMBER FLAMENCO.
