Marina Heredia premiered ‘Cancionero del Sacromonte’ on July 5th at Sacromonte Abbey, in the setting of the 2009 Granada International Music and Dance Festival. In the recital, which brought together traditional cantes of the land with poems and classical scores inspired by Granada, she was accompanied by the guitars of Miguel Ochando, Luis Mariano and José Quevedo ‘El Bola’, and by cantaor Jaime el Parrón as special collaborator, among other artists. Moreover, she had Irin Evans as stage director and Vicky Martín Berrocal in charge of wardrobe design. And this is how Miguel Ángel Molina’s camera viewed her.
