Arcangel. At the Palacio de Villacencio. 24.00
Young
breath
At the opposite
pole of what Jimeno does we find the schematic guitar of Paco Jarana, who accompanied
Arcangel at midnight, also without microphones.

A guitar which
does not set the rhythm in a determined way so as to play with that clear, young
voice which came out of Huelva through the house of the Pavones and the owner
of which dared open with a composition of "tona", "trilla", "martinete" and "debla".
He spoke to the crowd a couple of times ("this has not been one of my best
nights…"), nervous as he was due to the number of artists who filled the
venue ("I have chosen the wrong shoes…"), and he continued with five
types of "fandangos" rising from the Alosno (type of cante) and with songs "por
alegrias", "tangos volanderos" (from Pastora to the slow Las Grecas), "soleares"
which started in a better manner (in the fashion of Tomas) than they were concluded.
And finally another set of "fandangos", overcome by the conscience of his "fandangony".
