El Cabrero

Despite the bitter primitiveness that Quiñones attributes to Agujetas, without knowing how to write, he began his "cantes" in cursive letters, added moments to be underlined, and finished with bold letters.

As strange as it may seem, us "cabreros" are very sensitive, said Jose before speaking about poetry.

Just before that he had added to one of the songs "por bulerias" some verses by Borges, "La lluvia sucede en el pasado" (Rain takes place in the past)

The flamenco "cante" (singing) was modern poetry based on the ancient musical performances (Steingress)
