In November, he will stop off in Istanbul and also in Cannes, where at the 2011 Danse Festival he will perform the experimental show ‘El cielo de tu boca’, with bell music by Llorenç Barber. On December 13th he will return to France, where he will present ‘Somos sonos’ in the city of Brive.

The European tour which Andrés Marín will carry out in autumn 2011 compiles the most outstanding shows that he has premiered solo over the past few seasons. ‘OP 24’ is a show of essences in which he is accompanied by cantaor Enrique Soto as special guest and Salvador Gutiérrez on guitar. And he takes Antonio Chacón, La Niña de los Peines and the singing-cafés as references. The decline of those old-time tablaos is the context of ‘Vanguardia jonda’, a show including the participation of musicians Segundo Falcón on cante, Salvador Gutiérrez on guitar, Pablo Suárez on piano and Antonio Coronel on percussion.
‘El cielo de tu boca’, premiered at Seville’s 2010 Bienal de Flamenco, experiments with flamenco dancing and the experimental bell music of Llorenç Barber. A rapport which both go into more deeply in ‘Somos sonos’, a piece which was seen for the first time at the Picasso Museum in Málaga. And the tour also includes the latest large-scale show by the personal Sevillian artist: ‘La pasión según se mire’. In the show, a reflection about the concept of passion, the participants are bailaora Concha Vargas, Pepe de Pura and José Valencia, the flamenco ingredients dialoguing with contemporary tuba, marimba and clarinet music.
