Since 2000, the district of Nou Barris in the Catalan capital has organized a flamenco festival which has become the main attraction of its general festival. In this fifth edition, the series pays special attention to great Catalan cante talents, with Mayte Martín, Miguel Poveda and Ginesa Ortega on the bill. The three recitals, which will take place in the courtyard of the district headquarters from May 20th to 22nd, 2004, will be preceded by baile performances by Nacho Blanco, Fuga y Compás and Susana Caballero, respectively. This festival has already been attended by figures such as José Menese, Milagros Mengíbar and Niño Josele.
