Barcelona and flamenco go together hand
in hand this spring. The city is to have a packed flamenco program from March
to June full of cante, baile and toque stars. The concerts are spaced out between
the Guitar Festival, Ciutat Vella Festival and Nou Barris Flamenco Festival. The
guitars of Paco de Lucía, Tomatito and Gerardo
Núñez, Estrella Morente's cante and local voices such as Miguel
Poveda and Mayte Martín, Israel Galván and Juan de Juan's contemporary
baile... the three bills add up quality and variety.
