Madrid is getting ready for its annual flamenco event. Caja Madrid Flamenco Festival is to hold its fifteenth edition from January 30th to February 3rd, 2007 with a full schedule of performances starring the great voices of today’s cante. Carmen Linares, Miguel Poveda, Esperanza Fernández and José Mercé appear in a lineup where baile comes from Manuela Carrasco and concert guitar from Víctor Monge ‘Serranito’, who is to receive the 2007 Calle de Alcalá Award.
