Capullo
de Jerez has a new album. ‘Flor y canela’
is the title of this record on which tangos, rumbas and
bulerías prevail. The album, with lyrics of his
own, has no other accompaniment than the guitar by Diego
Amaya, Niño Jero and Jerito, plus an abundant ‘court’
of clappers and the special collaboration of bailaor Joaquín
Grilo. The Jerez-born cantaor premieres his new repertoire
in a tour of Spain, with stops in Madrid, Barcelona, Jerez
and Bilbao, among other cities.
