The solo guitar returned to the Catalunya Arte Flamenco 2011. A few days after the recital by Chicuelo in Sant Cugat, Juan Ramón Caro picked up the baton. The guitarist –who usually accompanies Mayte Martín- played the tracks of his album 'Rosa de los vientos' on November 25th at the Centre Cultural Font de la Mina in Sant Adrià de Besós. Caro presented the compositions from his first album only accompanied by the singing of José Antonio Martín 'Salao' and the percussion of David Domínguez. This performance closed the November concert program and the series, which has already offered the proposals by artists such as Estrella Morente and Capullo de Jerez and its heading to the final part of the program. The protagonists of the closure will be Pitingo (December 16th, Teatre Joventut de L'Hospitalet de Llobregat) and Miguel Poveda, who will close the schedule on January 12th at the Auditorium of Barcelona. Before the closing, there will be time for the dissertation. The side events include the words of two artists: Antonio Canales will give his lecture 'Antonios' on November 30th at the Auditorium Theatre Café Sant Cugat and Mayte Martin will speak on December 2nd in Santa Monica Arts Barcelona on today's flamenco trends. Tickets for the upcoming concerts are now available online.
