Vocal polyphony, with which Enrique Morente experimented so much, is the leitmotif of the closing concert of the 18th Ciutat Vella Flamenco Festival. Gospel Messengers Taller de Mùsics and the singer Alba Guerrero will close the program with 'Un secreto a voces' on May 21st. By then, four intense days of flamenco will be lived at the Contemporary Culture Center in Barcelona. The lineup opens on May 18th with 'Paisajes' by Ginesa Ortega and the dancing by La Moneta. The schedule continues the next night with the singer Juan Manuel Mora and the show 'Three' by Belén Maya. On Friday 20th, the stage will be shared by the singer Argentina and the dancer Rafaela Carrasco with the show 'De un momento a otro’. The last day, before the closing concert, the festival has scheduled performances by guitarist Juan Ramón Caro with ‘Rosa de los vientos’ and the veteran Málaga-born dancer Carrete. To all that activities are added P’alucine short film exhibit, the "tapeos" of dance improvisation entitled Empirical Flamenco and the late nights with rumba and DJs.
