The magazine Computer Hoy rates Flamenco-world.com at the top of the Spanish Internet in quality and service.

The web earned the highest score out of nearly three-hundred that were analyzed.

Thanks to its strict professional criteria, Flamenco-world.com is at the top of the Internet list in Spain. The nationally distributed magazine Computer Hoy has awarded Flamenco-world.com the highest score in a test that involved nearly three-hundred businesses. For its content, page layout and compatibility, the web received a score of "notable" (8.69 points), placing it ahead of webs such as Click2music.es, Sony Music España, MP3.es, Eritmo.com and Portal Latino.

In the analysis, quality as much as quantity, and the frequent updating of the magazine's content are pointed out, as well as easy access to the news sections and interviews with professional flamenco artists, the availability of reference information regarding festivals, the vast photographic gallery and links to webs of well-known artists in the flamenco world.

Computer Hoy also points out the "diversified multimedia content" that permits viewing artists' performances and hearing the work of well-known professionals, pointing out that this is all available on-line in RealAudio format or downloadable MP3 files.

The encyclopedia of artists gets special mention in Computer Hoy - a biweekly publication which has been awarded the ARI 2000 prize - as being "one of the most interesting sections". Regarding this service which registers forty-thousand visits monthly, they cite the possibility of looking up the biography, discography and professional history of the most important guitarists, singers and dancers in flamenco, "in addition to hearing their best-known work on-line".
