Flamenco dancing's new generation put on
their shows at Granada's Corral del Carbón

The 7th Flamenco Dancing Showcase is to be held until September 1st, 2005

Flamenco-world.com, July 2005

The top young figures of flamenco dancing gather throughout the summer in Granada. Corral del Carbón, a 14th-century Arab market, is the stage where, from July 20th to September 1st, 2005, the 7th Andalusian Flamenco Dancing Showcase is to take place. Every Wednesday and Thursday, bailaores and bailaoras will put on their shows, accompanied by first-rate groups. Standing out amongst them are the performances by Isabel Bayón, Fuensanta la Moneta, Andrés Peña, Manuel Liñán, Farruco and Mercedes Ruiz. It will also be a good chance to enjoy cante and toque. Guadiana, Juan José Amador, Luis Moneo, José Valencia and David Lagos highlight the accompanying cantaores. And on guitar, performers such as Daniel Méndez, Javier Patino, Jesús Torres and Miguel Iglesias stand out. The showcase polishes the summer's cultural and leisure activities in Granada.
