Flamenco bailaor Joaquín Cortés goes back to
touring the globe with a revitalized ‘Live’

The show, whose full name is ‘Live. Mi soledad’, tours Mexico, London, Italy and Japan

Flamenco-world.com, May 2005

Joaquín Cortés once again leaves behind a trail of ovations as he dances on the stages of half the planet. In the wake of his project ‘De amor y odio’, he's reworked ‘Live’, transforming it into ‘Mi soledad’ (My solitude). The production was already performed to an enthusiastic reception at venues like the Mexico City Auditorio and the Monterrey Arena. The final stop-off in Latin America will be in Venezuela, before he leaves for London's Royal Albert Hall, the magnificent venue where he recorded the DVD ‘Live at the Royal Albert Hall’. Between 15th and 30th July, he has planned an extensive tour of Italy, with stops in cities like Milan, Turin and Palermo. And in August he'll perform in Jordan, at Expo Aichi 2005 and at the Venice Film Festival. For the time being the bailaor from Córdoba has no dates penciled in past September, when he's scheduled to perform in Asian cities including Singapore, Macau and Hong Kong.
