Since registration began for the
courses of the 2005 Jerez Festival a little over a month
ago, five hundred places of the nine hundred available have
been filled. The success of enrollment has been such that
the courses of Mercedes Ruiz, Javier Latorre, Isabel Bayón,
Javier Barón and Rafaela Carrasco are full; and just
a few places remain in those to be taught by María
del Mar Moreno, Antonio el Pipa and Rafael Campallo.
In this ninth edition, which will take place from February
25th to March 9th, 2005, pupils can choose from among 36
different flamenco and Spanish dancing courses. In all,
the festival offers twenty percent more places than the
previous year, when 735 were covered by students coming
from Japan, Germany and Taiwan, among many other countries.
