The bailaor continues his tour of Spanish venues

Farruquito shelves ‘Alma vieja’ to present his show ‘Farruquito y familia’ in Barcelona, a show he premièred at New York's Town Hall in January 2001. The bailaor Sevillano will present the production at the Teatro Poliorama between 21st May and 13rd June 2004. The artist describes the production as an “intimate, informal show, with a set that covers a range of the purer, more traditional flamenco rhythms”. Dancing alongside him will be his brother El Farruco, his aunt La Faraona and his cousin El Barullo. The élite band of musicians comprises guitarists Román Vicenti and El Perla, with cantaores Antonio Villar, El Canastero, Encarnita Anillo and María Vizárraga. The dancer's tour will then continue, with ports of call all over Spain including the Festival Internacional de Granada, the Festival de La Unión, La Caracolá de Lebrija, El Potaje de Utrera and Forum 2004.
