Festival Flamenco Pa’ Tos 2006 has already presented the lineup of its seventh edition, which is to be held at Madrid’s Colegio de Médicos (Medical Association) June 20th to 23rd. The charity festival in Madrid will have main events such as the performance offered together by Enrique Morente and Rafael Riqueni on Thursday, June 22nd. But it won’t be by any means the only interesting event at this festival which never skimps on first-rate figures. Arcángel, Gerardo Núñez, Sara Baras, Serranito, Carmen Linares and Merche Esmeralda shape up the battalion of top flamencos. Nor is the presence of young talents banned, including among which are cantaores Pitingo and La Argentina - both with a recently premiering début album - and Granada-born bailaora Fuensanta la Moneta. Tickets for donations to the Gomaespuma Foundation’s projects are already ‘on sale’.
