Granada and Malaga will be ideal cities for a date with top quality flamenco throughout this season. Big name flamenco vocalists, dancers and guitarists are scheduled to perform at the Alhambra theater in Granada (Mondays) and Cánovas theater in Malaga (Wednesdays), as part of the ‘Flamenco viene del Sur’ season. This season 'from the south' is organized each year by the Andalusian Regional Government at venues under its jurisdiction. Remedios Amaya, Tomatito, Gerardo Núñez, Mayte Martín, Lole, Israel Galván and Tomasito are among the artists on the star-studded line-up. The program for Seville's Teatro Central (Tuesdays) is still to be confirmed, and will also include the Flamenco-Jazz Seminar.
