Ángel Muñoz takes the passion of flamenco to Romania. The bailaor from Córdoba presents the large-scale dance show ‘Flamenco Pasión’ with his own company at the Palatului auditorium in Bucharest on Thursday 8th December 2005, to an audience of three thousand. Ángel Muñoz - habitual guest star of big names like María Pagés, Paco Peña and Serranito - will perform in the Romanian capital surrounded by a tried and tested band of bailaores, cantaores and guitarists, including Charo Espino and Antonio Españadero. Together they'll run through styles such as the farruca, the taranto, alegrías and soleá por bulerías, in a production without a storyline that brings flamenco tradition bang up-to-date. Ángel Muñoz will also perform at the 2006 Festival de Jerez on 25th February next year, with a more intimate set featuring guitarist Cañizares as guest artist.
