The 2008 Bilbao
Flamenco Festival splits up its bill between Jerez cante and
Sevillian baile. The Palacio Euskaldunia Jaureguia
goes flamenco. On Friday, March 21st with the title ‘Jerez
canta’, Jerez-born cantaores La
Macanita and Luis
El Zambo will perform, both accompanied by Moraíto
on guitar and by Chícharo, Gregorio and Rafa on clapping.
On Saturday, March 22nd, Sevillian bailaor Javier
Barón offers the show ‘Notas al pie’
with Isabel
Bayón as guest artist. The bill also offers courses
and other related activities at Café Iruña and
at Muelle 3.
