La Fiesta de la Bulería and a recital by Paco Cepero provide Vendimia de Jerez 2010 with flamenco sound. On Saturday, September 4th, the veteran Jerez-born guitar maestro inaugurates the wine harvest festival program with a recital at the city’s Alcázar. Taking place at that same venue on Thursday, September 9th will be another of the scheduled flamenco performances; that of Huelva-born cantaora Argentina presenting her second album ‘Las minas de Egipto’. But the main event of this outstanding celebration, which links this land’s wine and music cultures, is the 42nd Fiesta de la Bulería. The festival, devoted to the most emblematic style of Jerez cante, will take place on Saturday, September 11th at the Plaza de Toros (Bullring). The bill will include cantaores Fernando de la Morena, El Torta, David Lagos, Capullo de Jerez, Macarena de Jerez and bailaor Andrés Peña, among others. And they will star together in ‘Cante a cante’ in the grand finale.
