Valencia star in Festival Flamenco de Cáceres 2007.
On November 24th, 2007 at the Auditorio de San Francisco in
the city in Extremadura, the thirty-third edition is to be held
of one of the oldest festivals on the Spanish circuit. Standing
out on the bill is Lebrija-born cantaor José Valencia
who, accompanied on guitar by Miguel Iglesias, will offer a
classical cante recital. And closing the evening will be veteran
bailaores Toni el Pelao and La Uchi with the show ‘Puro
flamenco’, awarded a special mention at Festival de Jerez
2007. The program also includes shows by guitarists Perico de
la Paula and Juan Manuel Moreno, and by cantaor Pedro Peralta,
stressing flamenco styles from Extremadura.
