Flamenco Festival gets ready for its fifteenth edition.

Fernández, Diego Clavel and Serranito - winner of the
Calle de Alcalá Award -, attended the presentation of the
festival, representing over fifty artists who will appear at Madrid’s
Teatro Albéniz between January 30th and February 3rd, 2007.
On the bill, which was defined as “one of the most complete
ones of those presented so far”, shows stand out such as
‘De aire y madera’ by Carmen Linares, ‘Tierra
de calma’ by Miguel Poveda, ‘Eternidad’ by Esperanza
Fernández, the tribute to Pedro Bacán entitled ‘Aluricán
en azul y verde’ and ‘Un sorbito de lo sublime’
by Manuela Carrasco. Moreover, after receiving his award, Serranito
will perform accompanied by bailaor Ángel Muñoz.
The previous week, the festival will hold a series of activities
at La Casa Encendida which will end on Friday the 26th with performances
by Mari Ángeles Fernández and Belén López.
