Camarón de la Isla, star of the 2005 San Sebastián Film Festival. Director Jaime Chávarri presented the film ‘Camarón’ on Sunday, September 18th, 2005. After the showing, Tomatito offered a tribute concert to the Cádiz-born cantaor at the Basque city's Velódromo. The movie will premiere at cinemas in Spain on November 4th, 2005. At the same time, an album is going to be released with the film's soundtrack, a compilation of thirteen songs: twelve of Camarón's most famous tracks and the taranta ‘Macael’ by Tomatito. The CD will be released together with a DVD with the preview of the film, music videos and the poster, among other contents.
