Chano Domínguez

Chano Domínguez presents ‘New Flamenco Sound’ within the ‘Jazz Comes from the South’ series at Seville's Central Theater. The new project by the Cádiz-born pianist “brings together the golden names of Spanish jazz”, musicians such as Guillermo McGill, Mario Rossy, Jordi Bonell, Llibert Fortuny and Diego Urcola. Moreover, members in the company include Blas de Córdoba on cante and Tomasito on baile and rhythm. Chano Domínguez premieres this format with a double concert on February 4th and 5th, 2005 at Seville's Central Theater. The performance coincides with the 7th Jazz and Flamenco Seminar, a program of masterclasses, concerts and jam sessions in which maestros such as cantaor Miguel Poveda, guitarist Nono García, percussionist Piraña and flamencologist Faustino Núñez also take part.
