Chicuelo and Andrés Peña attend
the Brighton Festival Fringe 2004. Catalan guitarist Chicuelo,
the usual accompanist of Miguel Poveda and Duquende, performs on May 7th at The
Old Market, with a viola and percussion group. Jerez-born bailaor Andrés Peña
appears with his company on May 19th and 20th on the same stage. Moreover, on
May 16th, instructor Anna León offers a didactic approach to flamenco at the Rox
School of Dance & Drama. Brighton Festival Fringe, which is held in the British
city from May 1st to 23rd, 2004, is an annual interdisciplinary festival that
calls together international artists of cultural expressions such as theater,
music, dance, literature and comedy.
