Marina Heredia and Jorge Pardo inaugurate the Year of Spain in China. Flamenco continues to be one of Spain’s best ambassadors to the world. On April 6th, 2007 at Beijing’s Forbidden City Theatre, the show ‘España Emociona’ kicked off the agenda commemorating the Year of Spain in China. The ceremony, presided over by leading authorities from both countries, included performances by Granada-born cantaora Marina Heredia; flamenco jazz group D’3 by Jorge Pardo, Francis Pose and José Vázquez; pop group Amaral and the txalaparta duo Ttukunak.
