Concha Jareño premières the flamenco dance shows ‘Algo’ and ‘Simplemente flamenco’. The Madrid-born bailaora, a double award-winner at the last Concurso Nacional de Córdoba, has chosen Madrid's alternative theater Sala Triángulo to unfurl her first solo offerings. Between 31st July and 17th August 2008 she'll alternate between her productions ‘Algo’ (Something) and ‘Simplemente flamenco’. ‘Algo’ builds on the piece of the same name which won the the Best Solo Choreography Award at the 14th Certamen de Danza Española y Flamenco de Madrid, in 2007. ‘Simplemente flamenco’ is a dance suite which includes rondeña, guajira, cantiñas and taranto. The bailaora, who regularly collaborates with companies like that of Rafaela Carrasco and Dospormedio, is accompanied on stage by musicians such as guitarist Juan Antonio Suárez ‘Cano’, percussionist Nacho Arimany, cantaora Gemma Caballero and violonist Konstantin Chakarov ‘Kosio’.
