Reyes lays stakes on his own company with the show ‘Las
cosas del flamenco’. Following several years
as the ballet consultant of Joaquín Cortés, Cristóbal
Reyes puts his boots on once again. The veteran Córdoba-born
bailaor is now on tour with the show ‘Las cosas del flamenco’,
which was presented in Mexico in July at the International Iberian
Contemporary Dance Festival of Querétaro and at the Teatro
de las Artes in Mexico City. The next dates will be from September
6th to 12th, when the company stops off at Madrid’s Teatro
Alcázar. The artist is accompanied in this show by a
dance corps of six bailaoras, together with whom he performs
bulerías, alegrías, tangos, soleá and farruca,
among other styles.
