Esmeralda, winner of the 2008 Calle de Alcalá
Flamenco Award. The Sevillian bailaora will star in
the sixteenth edition of the Caja Madrid Flamenco Festival.
The artist will receive the award during the course of the festival,
which will be held the week of January 29th to February 2nd,
2008 at the Teatro Albéniz in the Spanish capital. Blanca
del Rey, Antonio Gades, Mario Maya and Pilar López are
just a few of the bailaores who have won this prize in recent
years.
