Morente’s voice is to be ‘exhibited’
at the Picasso Museum in Málaga. The Granada-born
cantaora will offer two recitals on November 30th and December
1st, 2007 at the auditorium of the museum in Málaga.
The artist, who has recently performed in Norway and Morocco,
will sing traditional cantes and songs taken off her latest
record, ‘Mujeres’. The album, the third of her solo
career, is a tribute to the great female voices of recent music,
including flamenco, bolero and chanson. The last time she sang
in the city was last September at Playa del Palo, in the setting
of Festival
Málaga en Flamenco 2007.
