from international agencies exhibit there work on Málaga
en Flamenco 2007. From now until November 27th at the
Centro Cultural Provincial in Málaga, the exhibit ‘Siete
maravillas a lo flamenco en 2007’ (‘Seven Flamenco-Style
Wonders in 2007’) can be visited, with seventy photographs
taken by seven photographers from press agencies such as Reuters
and France Press during the flamenco festival in Málaga.
The exhibit, which closes the ‘Siete miradas’ (‘Seven
Regards’) series, compiles snapshots of artists like Miguel
Poveda, Rocío Molina, Chano Lobato, Carmen
Linares and Mayte Martín, among others, taken by
reporters Rafael Marchante, José Luis Roca, Javier Barbancho,
Cristina Quicler, Francisco Bonilla, Marcelo del Pozo and García
Vivas. All of them were taken in the ‘Siete maravillas’
series, which took flamenco last September to places in the
province of Málaga as emblematic as the Ronda Bullring,
Plaza Ochavada in Archidona, Cueva de Nerja and Torcal de Antequera.
The exhibit will be accompanied by a schedule of shows by local
artists, under the title ‘Son de Málaga’
(‘They’re from Málaga’).
