Flamenco blossoms
in Madrid's springtime. Several flamenco series coincide
at different points in the city in April, with first-rate figures
on the bill. Guadiana and Juan de Juan will perform on April
7th in the ‘Flamenco en la Villa’ series, which
will devote part of its program to studying the relationship
between flamenco and poetry. Chano Lobato, Diego el Cigala and
Carmen Linares are the main stars in the 4th ‘Ese arte
que duele’ (‘That Painful Art’) Flamenco Festival
which is to be held from April 9th to 30th at the Alfredo Kraus
Cultural Center.
