Carmen Linares champions Festival Flamencos por Gambo 2007. The Jaén-born cantaora kicks off the charity festival organized by Fundación El Alto, an NGO focused on development projects in Ethiopia. The artist will surround herself in this concert with musicians such as guitarists Juan Diego and Eduardo Pacheco, percussionist Tino di Geraldo, plus Ana Mari and Javier González on choruses and clapping. Moreover she has invited Cádiz-born cantaora Encarna Anillo, who is preparing the release of her début album, ‘Barcas de plata’, to take part in the gala. The date is October 18th at the Auditorio de CCOO in Madrid at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are now available at El Corte Inglés and Hipercor shopping centers, at the website www.elcorteingles.es and at telephone number 902 400 222.
