Cristina Heeren Flamenco Art Foundation gives scholarships to the international students of the Instituto Cervantes. The Sevillian institution offers a 50% discount on the registration fees of the 2011 Intensive Summer Course to the students of the Instituto Cervantes throughout the world who have studied at least three years of Spanish. This summer training program is to be held for four weeks from July 4th to 29th at the foundation’s headquarters in Seville (Spain). The syllabus, with a schedule of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday to Friday, consists of practical courses in the specialities characteristic of flamenco (Cante, Baile, Guitar and Compás), plus a theory course of Introduction to Flamenco, which will be taught in Spanish. There will be three levels in each speciality: Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced. Upon finishing the course, the students will receive the Certificate of Attendance to the Intensive Summer Course of the Cristina Heeren Foundation.
