Isabel Bayón has ‘La puerta abierta’ (‘The Door Open’) at the Seoul International Dance Festival 2009 in Korea. The Sevillian bailaora presents the show, a prizewinner at Seville’s 2006 Bienal de Flamenco, at the Seoul Arts Center’s Towol Theater in the Korean capital on October 20th and 21st. The lineup of artists includes guitarist Jesús Torres, clappers Bobote and Eléctrico, and as guest artist, cantaor José Valencia. The performance is set within an extensive dance program with the participation of companies from countries such as India, Israel, Germany, Italy and Japan. With this same show, Bayón has already attended festivals like the Dutch Flamenco Biennial, Festival de Jerez and Flamenco Festival London, among others. At the same time, she is also touring with the more recent productions ‘Tórtola Valencia’ and ‘Tan solo flamenco’.
