Ivam firms up its annual flamenco series with Mayte Martín, Duquende and Diego Amador. Paintings by Picasso, Dalí and Basquiat are going to be in the company of flamenco sounds for a month in the hall of the Valencia Institute of Modern Art. Scheduled on Thursdays in the month of August are performances by fusion group Azería (the 4th), cantaora Mayte Martín (the 11th), cantaor Duquende (the 18th) and pianist and cantaor Diego Amador (the 25th). Ivam periodically organizes concerts of diverse genres such as jazz or blues, as complementary activities to the painting, photography and sculpture exhibits. It had already dedicated a series to flamenco last summer with performances by young artists such as guitarist Daniel Casares and cantaor Antonio Pitingo.
