Concha Jareño presents ‘Simplemente flamenco’ at Seville’s 2010 Flamenco Thursdays. Scarcely a couple of days after receiving the 2009 Revelation Prize at Festival de Jerez, the Madrilenian bailaora performs at the 2010 Cajasol Flamenco Thursdays. And she does so with a suite of traditional flamenco bailes that will tackle farruca, caracoles and milonga, accompanied by musicians like guitarist Flavio Rodrigues, as well as cantaores Pedro Obregón and Gema Caballero, among others. She has already presented herself with this show in cities such as Sao Paulo, Hong Kong and Amsterdam, among others. Jareño, who took part in ‘Flamenco Hoy’ by Carlos Saura, will return to the Andalusian capital in autumn to display her award-winning show ‘Algo’ at Bienal de Sevilla 2010.
