Festival de Jerez
2008 extends two courses in view of students’ demand.
Together with the already existing program, the organization
has added another course of ‘Technique and style of baile
por tangos. Intermediate level’ by maestra Rafaela
Carrasco (February 28th to March 6th, 1 p.m.) and
of ‘Technique and style of the rondeña. Intermediate
level’ taught by maestra Isabel
Bayón (March 8th to 14th, 10 a.m.). Barely a week
after the opening of registration on September 1st, 2008, the
following courses are already full: martinete by Ángel
Muñoz, the first tangos course initially offered by Rafaela
Carrasco, soleá by Andrés Peña and guajira
with a fan by La Truco.
