María del Mar Moreno and Antonio Malena present the flamenco show ‘Jerez Puro’ at the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. On March 31st, the Jerez tradition of baile, cante and toque will arrive at the Dewan Filharmonik Petronas in the Malay capital. And it will be with the company championed by bailaora María del Mar Moreno and cantaor Antonio Malena. Accompanied by guitarists Santiago Moreno and Malena Jr., cantaor Manuel Malena, plus clapping and jaleos by Luis de la Tota, La Mibe del Mono and Rocío del Mono, they are scheduled to perform a repertoire consisting of styles such as the seguiriya, soleá and bulerías. The show is part of the tourist promotion program ‘Kuala Lumpur’s Madrid Week’, which also includes a gastronomic exhibit by chef Paco Roncero. The show ‘Jerez Puro’ premiered at Festival de Jerez 2005 and since then it has visited numerous international stages, at the same time as María del Mar Moreno’s participation in other projects such as the collective show ‘¡Viva Jerez!’ and the face-off with La Macanita entitled ‘Jerezanas’.
