Juan Valderrama will be paid tribute in Madrid, coinciding with the release of the album 'Tributo a don Juan Valderrama'. The veteran Jaén-born cantaor will receive a tribute on Monday, February 23rd, 2004 at Madrid's Palacio de Congresos by initiative of the Andalusia Junta. Scheduled to take part in this gala are most of the cantaores and guitarists who have collaborated on the album 'Tributo a don Juan Valderrama' ('Tribute to Juan Valderrama'), which is already on sale at Flamenco-world.com. Potito, Vicente Amigo with El Pele, Diego el Cigala, Montse Cortés, Carmen Linares, José el Francés and Niño Josele, Arcángel, Miguel Poveda, Juan Habichuela, Pepe de Lucía, Paquete... will offer their art to he who is considered to be "the last figure of flamenco's 'Golden Age' ".
