David Lagos provides a preview of his album ‘El espejo en que me miro’ at Fnac Sevilla. The Jerez-born cantaor inaugurated Flamenco World Music’s triple showcase on Thursday, September 4th, 2008. In less than half an hour before a completely jam-packed Forum, he synthesized the essence of what will be his first solo album, whose release date is scheduled for this fall. Following a reference to the historic cantaor El Sevillano, he offered alegrías and bulerías of a personal creation, all of it with guitar accompaniment by Alfredo Lagos. With the showcase underway, on Friday the 5th it’s guitarist Jesús Torres’ turn with his album ‘Viento del Norte’, and the series is closed on Saturday the 6th by Cádiz-born cantaora Encarna Anillo with ‘Barcas de plata’.
