El Lebrijano and Mario Maya star in the fourth week of Málaga en Flamenco 2005. The Málaga festival continues with two great figures of the jondo art. On the one hand, El Lebrijano gave a real cante lesson at Málaga Province Cultural Center on the night of Thursday, October 6th. And on the other, Mario Maya performed the Lorca play ‘Diálogo del Amargo’ at Cánovas Theater on Friday, October 7th and Saturday the 8th. Besides the performances being held around the province, a didactic flamenco course has been started at schools in Málaga with the aim of bringing this cultural expression closer to schoolchildren. A glance at flamenco cinema has also been taken, with the showing of the films ‘Flamenco’ by Carlos Saura and ‘Duende y misterio del flamenco’ (‘Flamenco's Duende and Mystery’) by Edgar Neville at Málaga's Ateneo.
