The stars of flamenco show solidarity with the earthquake victims in Lorca. Miguel Poveda, Diego el Cigala, Carmen Linares, Pitingo, Tomatito, Marina Heredia, Carlos Piñana and Argentina, among other artists, performing on June 26th at the Old Public Market in La Unión -venue of the prestigious Festival del Cante de las Minas- to benefit the victims of the earthquake that destroyed the town of Lorca (Murcia) on March 11th, 2011. They all participate in this charity gala accompanied by their respectives bands and completely selfless, to help in raising funds for those affected. Funds raised at the gala, presented by journalist Juan Ramón Lucas, will go to the Bureau of Solidarity with Lorca, who will be responsible for distributing funds among social purposes, humanitarian and recovery of monuments. Tickets are on sale at the headquarters of the Tourist Office in La Unión and El Corte Inglés in all Spain. It has also opened a charity bank account  in Cajamurcia (number 2043.0064.19.2007000898).
