Bailaoras Belén Maya and Rafaela Carrasco star in ‘Los caminos de Lorca’. Granada is reunited once again with poet Federico García Lorca. For the fourth consecutive year, the Palace of King Carlos V is the chosen venue for the ‘Lorca y Granada 2004’ season, organized by the Andalusian regional council's Department for Cultural Affairs and Granada city council. The cornerstone of this edition will be the show ‘Los caminos de Lorca’, which runs from 22nd July to 28th August 2004. The production stars flamenco dancers Belén Maya and Rafaela Carrasco, with Pepa Gamboa as stage director and with choreographic input from Cristina Hoyos. The veteran bailaora was the center of attention at last year's event with ‘Yerma’, seen by more than sixty thousand spectators in the stunning surroundings of the Alhambra palace.
