María Pagés, awarded the 2004 Positano Leonide Massine Dance Prize “al valore” in Italy. On Saturday, September 4, 2004, the Sevillian bailaora received this prize unique in the world, considered one of the greatest international recognitions within the ballet world. The award, promoted by L’Azienda Autonoma di Soggiorno e Turismo di Positano, has gone to dancers of the likes of Rudolf Nureyev in previous editions.
