Marina Heredia will sing ‘El amor brujo’ with the San Francisco Symphony. The Granada-born cantaora is once again called upon by a prestigious international orchestra to perform the vocals of the work by Manuel de Falla. After doing so in previous seasons in Paris and Montevideo, she will renew the experience in the United States with the San Francisco Symphony (SFS), under Granada-born conductor Pablo Heras-Casado. The performances are scheduled for January 19th, 20th and 21st, 2012 at the SFS’s venue, Davies Symphony Hall, in the city in California. The artist has been combining this collaboration work with live presentations of her latest album ‘Marina’ at forums like the 16th Tampere Flamenco Festival (Finland), the 8th Poetry Series at El Laurel de La Zubia (Granada), the 45th Fosforito Cante Grande Festival and Jerez’s 44th Fiesta de la Bulería. The next dates in her agenda are November 11th at the 9th Autism Charity Gala at the Palacio de Congresos in Cádiz and December 14th at the tribute gala Flamenco por Moraíto Chico at the Teatro Coliseum in Madrid.
